From a very young age, I loved to create; from composing tales of princesses trapped in castles (complete with colour illustrations and custom binding), to crocheting little bags for my candy stash. I began to explore photography when our family purchased a digital point and shoot. Now, my preferred medium is digital art and photo manipulation, inspired by nature photographs from my own collection.
Growing up in beautiful British Columbia (BC), I had every opportunity to explore the wilds of the West coast. I now call Victoria, BC home, and I take every chance I get to escape to nature, whether it be a weekend getaway or taking the long, scenic route to where I need to be. For me, nature is a much-needed break from the increasingly noisy modern world. In my artwork, I strive to capture its calm and simplicity.
